AMD CEO: line-up of Radeon 7000 cards is complete

Scott Herkelman AMD's senior vice president said during an interview with VideoCardz that the lineup of AMD Radeon 7000 GPUs is "complete". According to the man no new products of this series will be released.

Herkleman was interviewed by employees of VideoCardz during the German games fair Gamescom. During that conversation whether the lineup of Radeon 7000 graphics cards was complete after AMD announced the Radeon RX 7700 XT and RX 7800 XT earlier this week. “The RDNA3 portfolio is now complete” Herkelman confirmed. "These were the last products planned. We may introduce a few more different variants but they won't be new SKUs" said the senior vice president.AMD at Gamescom this week fair in Cologne two new graphics cards announced: the Radeon 7700 XT and the RX 7800 XT. The Radeon 7700 XT will cost $489 while the RX 7800 XT will cost $549. Both cards will be available from September 6. These two models complete the lineup of Radeon RX 7000 cards based on the RDNA3 architecture. The first cards from this series were introduced at the end of 2022. Those were then the RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX.
